Hey, everybody! Just wanted to apologize quickly for the slowness in the last week; I've been on vacation with my coworkers, and didn't have access to the internet for more than a few minutes every day. Regular updates should resume, now. Thank you for your patience while I've been traveling!

Hello everybody!

I just wanted to take a moment to explain why updates have been slow in the last 2 weeks. I have just landed in China for a four month teaching gig, and didn't have reliable WiFi (or the time) until very recently to be able to actually look at deviantART. I am hoping that I can make it a bit more regular, even if it's only once a week, as I get used to what's happening over here.

I also wanted to take a moment to remind people to be strong. For the first time in my life, I am in a situation that I cannot leave where people genuinely hate homosexuals. I am surrounded by far-right Americans who absolutely detest everything that I stand for, and it has been one of the most trying experiences of my life... and it's only beginning. I have a brand new appreciation for those of you who deal with this every day, and my heart is filled with prayers for your continued strength. There is so much love in this world, but it is so hard to recognise it when you are surrounded by hatred. Do not let yourself give in. Support each other, and show each other how talented and kind you all are.

Just as a reminder, here's a breakdown of the guide to behaving well in Discussion Topics:

discussion thread in these comments specifically.

That's it. Be nice to each other. Say what you have to say, read through other comments, discuss, share! Just answer the questions you would like to and share any other thoughts you have on the topic. :3

So, that being said...
For those who have come to terms with their sexuality:
Are you happy with your sexuality? Would you call yourself "proud?"
How do you think life would be if you were heterosexual? If you were homosexual?
Do you ever regret your sexuality? If so, why?
Have their been times where you have wondered if it's "just a phase?"
If it applies, what would you like to say to those who are UNHAPPY with their sexuality?



Keep it work friendly, kids! Remember, you can answer one or all of these questions, and can add
anything else you have to say on the topic to your response!

2013!

Hey everyone!

I sincerely hope January has treated you well, so far! To those of you in the east, I hope you're getting pumped up for February! As always, I hope that 2013 treats everyone very well. Isn't it hard to believe we're already thirteen years into this century? I feel old just thinking about it!

2012 was a busy, busy, hard learning experience for me as I feel that it was for many people. But I feel like this year is going to be one great adventure.

My own adventures start on February 26th, when I depart for Weihei, Shandong, China for four months to be a volunteer teacher with International Language Programs. I will be teaching English to students at the Weihei Guanghua School. It's a beautiful place and I am very excited (if a bit overwhelmed) by this wonderful adventure. Of course, this means that I will be a bit delayed on my ability to accept and moderate within this group. While deviantART is not blocked in China so far as I know, I will have a full time job and be trying to sight see!

That being said, I do regret having not put this group higher up on my priority list. What I would really like to start doing again are the discussion topics. So, what are your suggestions? What would you like to see us talk about, here?

Also--HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! Thank you for over three years of wonderful support and talent being shared here! Every day you are facilitating my dreams, and saving people's lives with your acceptance and love.

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to apologise for having been so slow to accept new members and new artwork in the last few weeks; my computer was destroyed recently, so until I can get a new one, it's way too difficult to do all of the group stuff on my mobile phone. I will try very hard to keep it as quickly updated as I can, and I should be getting a new computer in the next few weeks, but in the mean time I'm going to have to ask for some patience. I will also be away from the computer from the 15-21st with no internet access, and then I'll be back. Thank you so much, my loves!

Super Group!

Woo hoo!

We are finally a Super Group!

Thank you to all of the people who donated in the past and made it a lot cheaper for me to procure our group's new upgraded status! I don't want to say too much more right now aside from the fact that we have finally been upgraded... and I'd love some help with coding a journal skin and new look for our front page! If we have any coders and designers in our mix, it would be wonderful to hear from you!

Otherwise, please enjoy our new layout and features, and look forward to further updates and upgrades in the near future! I will also begin posting polls when I have questions for all of you! Yaaay~!

Thank you and congratulations, again! One of my dreams has come true because of your support.
