Thank you for all of your love and support over the years!

Hello, everyone!

Since I haven't posted anything to this journal in two years, you may not be familiar with who I am. My name's Jay, and I opened this group seven years ago in an effort to create a safe space for bisexual creators to share and discuss their work. Within the first year of being open, we had already hit 1,000 members, and I was truly thrilled!

Unfortunately, this group stopped being fun for me years ago. Although I have tried many times to put out the call for help, I've really only lucked out once or twice with people who consistently follow through on the work they've signed on for (you know who you are, and I'm intensely grateful!). Despite multiple attempts at new initiatives to make the group more engaging, our numbers have plateaued for years, and participation has generally been lacking.

On a personal note, I haven't been able to keep up with my own participation and administrative duties in recent years, as I worked full time, traveled, and began my university career. I've grown immensely as a person, and most of the previous posts that I've made in this group no longer reflect my feelings. This group could have been a full-time job from the beginning, and I am frankly unable to give it the love and attention that it deserves. I have flirted with offering it to other deviants to run, but I feel uncomfortable handing over something I've dedicated so much time to. After at least one year of contemplation, probably more like two or three, I've decided to close the group.

I want to thank all of you for being a part of this journey, whether you've been here since the beginning or only joined our ranks recently. This has been an exceptional learning experience for me, and I hope that it has been a safe and encouraging place for you.

This group will stop receiving new members as of today, and I will be looking into ways to make it dormant without erasing the wonderful gallery we've amassed over the years. I truly hope that all of you are able to find new communities which foster your creativity and inspire you to show more love to your fellow members of the queer community. You all mean the world to me, and I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to interact with so many fascinating people.

Wishing you love and light,
Jay

 Hehe, um... I can you please switch my submission for the competition to the right folder please? I'm an idiot and kind of placed it in the written folder-thing and didn't read the rules properly... ermm... Sorry! Here's a cookie for my stupidity! :cookie:
